In a tweet by OptaJohan, it was revealed that the 26-year-old has completed an impressive 50 dribbles this season, more than any other Antwerp player in a single campaign since their return to the top-flight league in 2017.

“Chidera Ejuke (has) completed 50 dribbles this @ProLeagueBE campaign, more than any other @official_rafc player over a single Jupiler Pro League season since the club’s return to the top-flight in 2017-18. Artistry,” the stats account tweeted.

Ejuke’s mesmerizing runs and ball control proved too much for the St. Truiden defenders to handle. He created three scoring opportunities, made two crucial passes, and successfully completed all his attempted dribbles. Additionally, Ejuke showcased his defensive abilities by winning three interceptions and making six recoveries.

Ejuke’s recent success comes after facing initial challenges in making an impact following his stint at Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin before joining Antwerp last summer. However, the Super Eagles winger has since scored three goals and provided three assists in his last 12 league starts.

Having scored his first goal for Antwerp in November, Ejuke’s improved form has coincided with the club’s rise to fourth place in the standings. His outstanding performance on Sunday highlighted his importance to Antwerp’s title defense this season.
