The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced on Monday that Nigerian international Bright Osayi-Samuel, along with two other Fenerbahce players, is set to face a disciplinary hearing, according to The Vanguard.
This follows an altercation with Trabzonspor fans, prompting the TFF’s intervention.
Bright Osayi Samuel will face disciplinary board
Sports Buddy reported in previous news about the chaotic event in which Osayi-Samuel intervened by punching a fan who had invaded the pitch and attempted to attack Fenerbahce players following the Turkish Super Lig encounter.

Osayi-Samuel, aged 26, reportedly struck a supporter who had stormed onto the pitch while wearing a face mask. Additionally, Dutch defender Jayden Oosterwolde has been accused of kicking the same individual.
Sports Buddy also reported that FIFA president Gianni Infantino strongly condemned the “totally unacceptable” violence that happened after the game.

A third player, along with two club employees, is also set to appear before the disciplinary body for their involvement in the incident. Furthermore, an assistant coach from Trabzonspor will also face the disciplinary board.
Thirteen supporters of Trabzonspor were arrested, with five of them held in pre-trial detention. This marks the most recent violent episode to impact Turkish football this season. Earlier in the term, the championship was suspended for a week after the president of Ankaragucu assaulted a referee following a first division match.
