Hafiz Umar Ibrahim who who plays as a forward has been offered a two-week trial deal by the London-based club.

In the forthcoming weeks, Ibrahim will have the chance to showcase his skills and potential at Chelsea, as confirmed by renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a recent post on his social media handle on X.

”Nigerian striker Ibrahim Hafiz Umar (18) has decided for trial at Chelsea instead of joining FK Bodø/Glimt despite club-to-club deal done for €500k.

”It will be up to Chelsea now, as Hafiz will be on trial for next weeks from Ojodu City Academy.”, he said, as cited on his post on X.

Hafiz eyed by Manchester City

After successfully obtaining a visa, he is set to commence his two-week trial at Cobham training facility.

Joe Shields, the Co-director of recruitment and talent, expressed confidence in the youngster’s potential and deemed him worthy of pursuit.

His talent has already caught the attention of clubs like Manchester City, evident from his goal against their Under-21 team during a youth tournament.

Following his impressive performance at the prestigious 74th annual Viareggio Cup in Italy last month, the young star from Ojodu City FC has garnered widespread acclaim.
