Jadon Sancho’s redemption song: Ten Hag hints at second chance
Jadon Sancho’s turbulent time at Manchester United might be taking an unexpected turn. Manager Erik ten Hag, who previously exiled the winger, has hinted at a possible return.
Public spat led to exile
Sports Buddy previously reported that Sancho was exiled from the first team last September after publicly criticizing Ten Hag on social media. This followed a period of what the manager deemed a poor training attitude. Refusing to apologize, Sancho was relegated to training alone and with the youth team.
Impressive loan performance sparks hope
A loan move back to Borussia Dortmund in January seemed to solidify his departure. However, Ten Hag has been monitoring Sancho’s progress and appears impressed.

Following Sancho’s instrumental role in Dortmund’s midweek Champions League victory, Ten Hag praised the 24-year-old, suggesting a potential pathway back into the Manchester United fold.
“Of course, I follow international football and follow the players on loan at other clubs.
“It was a fantastic game, Dortmund against Atletico.
“It was a great performance from Dortmund and for Jadon it’s good news.
“He made his contribution to the result for Dortmund,” Ten Hag said, as per The Sun.

While Ten Hag’s praise marks a potential thaw in their relationship, a full reconciliation and Sancho’s return to Old Trafford likely hinge on an apology from the player.
“We know Jadon Sancho is a fantastic football player, so that is not a surprise for us, that is not the issue,” Ten Hag added.
