However, footage shared by beIN Sports and also shared on X (formerly Twitter) suggested that Mazraoui was indeed onside, raising further controversy. Bayern Munich manager Tuchel was visibly distraught after the game, with the controversial call fueling his frustration following their Champions League exit.
