Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is set to face a sentence after the 26-year-old forward was caught speeding in his £560,000 Rolls-Royce, just months after he was involved in a car crash.
Rashford was involved in a fatal accident a few months ago, which saw his £700,000 Rolls-Royce wrecked. Despite this, the 26-year-old England international was recently caught exceeding 70 mph while driving on the M60 highway in his Cullivan Blue Shadow.
Marcus Rashford to face sentence
Rashford has admitted to the speeding offense through a single justice procedure and is now set to face a sentence at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on September 27.
The offence came just a few months after the Manchester United forward wrecked his previous Rolls-Royce worth £700,000 in a car crash. He was leaving United’s Carrington base when he bumped into a gran, on September 23.
Footage showed his car’s back bumper being torn off and scattered on the side of the road, with hazard lights flashing. Fortunately, neither driver suffered any injuries.
Later, Rashford posted on social media to reassure supporters that he was well.
“3 points on the road! I’m alright guys thanks for the messages,” he wrote, as per The Sun.
