Former Netherlands and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Rafael van der Vaart, has taken another dig at Arsenal’s new €100M signing, Declan Rice.
After experiencing another painful loss in the European Cup final against a burning Spanish side, Van der Vaart stated, “€100M for Declan Rice? What does he do? He comes to collect a ball only to give it back to John Stones.

“He is worthless. If you are indeed a €100M man, you should be able to play a ball forward. ” he told @NOS
Declan Rice Criticism
”It’s not the first time Declan Rice has come under fire for his ball-playing skills. According to a report from Sportsbuddy, Republic of Ireland centurion James McClean recently questioned Rice’s status as a world-class player, saying, “Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s a very good footballer.

But the way the English media waxing lyrical about him is completely over the top. For me, he’s not world class. To me, world class is someone who gets in every side in the world. I don’t think he does that.
England’s Final Defeat
