The new Arsenal away jersey was recently unveiled in a video which showcased Lagos, while Gunners stars Bukayo Saka, and club legend Nwankwo Kanu featured as models.
Arsenal is honoring its ties with its African followers by taking inspiration from the continent’s design heritage.

Designed by Foday Dumbuya, the founder of Labrum London, this shirt has the traditional pan-African colors of black, red, and green, enhanced by a striking white zig-zag pattern.
The combination of these colors and cultural cues highlights the rich cultural heritage of both the team and their fan base, as well as past and present connections to the African diaspora in London and abroad.

The shirt features a plain black base that is brought to life by an abundance of bright colourations.
The shoulders and collar is adorned with vibrant red-and-green logos and embellishments, while a stunning white zig-zag pattern that reaches the shorts adorns the sleeves and sides of the torso.

This beautiful design was unveiled in a promotional video featuring Bukayo Saka and teammate Gabriel, and also club legend Kanu Nwankwo.
The streets of Lagos, Nigeria, people on motorcycles, Okadas, and tricycles Keke-Napep are all shown in the footage.
