Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma has apologized after being filmed using laughing gas (Nitrous oxide) days before the new Premier League season.
According to an Exclusive from The Sun, the video that Bissouma posted on Snapchat included himself laughing uncontrollably while taking hits from a balloon in a chauffeur-driven limo.

A Night Out Gone Wrong
Bissouma, 27, had been out celebrating after Tottenham’s final pre-season match against Bayern Munich in North London.
The night, which was said to involve excessive drinking, turned sour when the player and his friends were captured on camera inhaling the gas, which is prohibited to have with intent to sniff it.
The event is worrisome as the English Premier League season is scheduled to commence in the next week.
In a previous reports from Sportsbuddy, Yves Bissouma was excited to see teammate Richarlison return from his injury as he filmed him capping a return to the club’s training base with a remarkable “SUII” celebration.
Consequences and Apology

Having nitrous oxide is dangerous in that it has been known to cause various health complications such as brain disorders, memory loss and nerve damage.
It has also been criminalized, and anyone who has been convicted in the past for the same offence can be jailed for up to two years.
Such conduct has prompted fans’ anger and could result in a police complaint against Bissouma as well as punishment by Tottenham.
In a statement Bissouma admitted his mistake, “I want to apologize for these videos. This was a severe lack of judgment. I understand how serious this is and the health risks involved, and I also take my responsibility as a footballer and role model very seriously. ”
The club in return said, “We are aware of the events and this will be dealt with in house. ”
Yves Bissouma signed for the Spurs in 2022 from Brighton and is the latest premier league player to be found abusing the substance.
