Jadon Sancho had a tough spell at Manchester United
Manchester United resumed their Premier League campaign against Fulham leaving out Jadon Sancho from the squad.
The Red Devils’ 24-year-old winger, who had conflict with the manager Erik ten Hag last season, was benched despite featuring in the pre-season and the recent Community Shield clash vs neighbours Manchester City.

Tensions and Transfer Rumors
The duo started sour since the manager dumped him out of the team to face Arsenal in August last year, arguing that the winger has been performing poorly in training sessions, which Sancho denied.
This disagreement saw him benched in September and later let out on a six-month loan deal to Borussia Dortmund.
Although the two reportedly reconciled during an extended pre-season conversation as reported by Sportsbuddy, Sancho is still up for transfer should a club agree to pay United’s £40 million price tag.

According to reports, Chelsea has been cited as potential destination for Sancho, the club is rumored to be willing to offer a transfer fee plus two academy talents, or a loan deal with an option to buy Sancho for the United winger.
Ten Hag’s Explanation on Jadon Sancho
Despite the continued speculation regarding his move to the Cottagers, Ten Hag claimed that Sancho did not play in the Fulham match due to an infection.
Speaking after the game, the Manchester United manager added “I can only put 20 players. Jadon had an ear infection in the week. He was not 100%. He could have played but I had to make choices.”

The Red Devils proceeded to win 1-0 in their Premier league opening fixture. Joshua Zirkzee and Alejandro Garnacho had to start from the bench.
And the pair contributed to the all-important goal.
