Lookman’s contributions helped Atalanta secure the Europa League title, while his performances were also crucial in leading the Super Eagles to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final.
With 27 goal involvements—17 goals and 10 assists—across 45 games, the 27-year-old was deservedly voted Atalanta’s Player of the Season for the second consecutive year.

Barison also shared insights on his client Caleb Okoli’s summer transfer to Leicester City. Despite offers from Germany, Spain, France, and Italy, Okoli prioritized a Premier League move, signing a five-year contract with Leicester in July.
“His dream was to go to the Premier League,” Barison explained. The young center-back’s swift decision saw negotiations conclude within five days.
Okoli, eligible for both Italy and Nigeria, has been included in Italy’s squad for upcoming UEFA Nations League matches and could make his international debut against Belgium.
