Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is in the news again, and this time because of a recent burst up with a fan in Naples.
Osimhen’s future has been the subject of much discussion, leaving his future uncertain.
Osimhen’s transfer saga
The 25-year-old striker has attracted interest from several top clubs across Europe. However, no deal appears imminent, as suitors have yet to meet his €130 million release clause.
Despite uncertainty over his next club, Osimhen is keen on leaving Naples this summer, with reports claiming he handed in a transfer request.
However, Sports Buddy recently reported that the former Lille attacker’s agent was recently pictured at Stamford Bridge during Chelsea’s preseason game with Inter Milan, reigniting rumours of a move to the West London club.

In a recent development, a video surfaced over the weekend showing the Super Eagles star involved in an altercation with a fan at a nightclub.

The fan was filming Osimhen as he moved through the club, but the Napoli star, dissatisfied with the intrusive behaviour, attempted to seize the phone.
Victor Osimhen is not new to controversy, however. In June, the Nigerian striker went on a social media rant in response to a rumor that stated that Finidi George, the former coach of the Super Eagles, had doubted his dedication to the team.
