Atalanta is set to experience another electrifying night as they gear up to face European football giants Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday.
As previously reported by Sportsbuddy, the Italian side earned their spot in the Super Cup thanks to Ademola Lookman’s remarkable hat-trick against Victor Boniface’s Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final last May.

Real Madrid, along with Barcelona and AC Milan, boasts the highest number of UEFA Super Cup titles, with five wins each.
The Spanish team has bolstered their already formidable squad by signing Kylian Mbappé, the latest addition to their roster of Galacticos.
Mbappé is expected to make his highly anticipated official debut for Los Blancos in this clash.

Lookman has continued his stellar form from last season into Atalanta’s pre-season matches, contributing a goal and forcing an own goal in games against Parma and AZ Alkmaar.
As Real Madrid prepares to field a star-studded lineup that includes Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba, Vinícius Júnior, Jude Bellingham, Luka Modrić, and Antonio Rüdiger, Lookman remains unfazed by the prospect of facing Mbappé.
When asked about the Super Cup being framed as a showdown between him and Mbappé, Lookman emphasized the team aspect.
“It’s not about that,” he told UEFA’s official webpage. “There are a lot of quality players on the pitch, big names. I’m just focused on getting out there, working hard, and showcasing my skills.”
