Victor Osimhen played a pivotal role in Galatasaray’s match against Fenerbahce at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium as Galatasaray emerged 3-1 winners.
The Nigerian forward, on loan from Napoli, was instrumental in the win despite the return of Mauro Icardi from injury.

Victor Osimhen showed his brilliance in the 28th minute when, instead of directing his header to the goal post from a cross, he controlled the ball with his chest to his former Napoli teammate, Dries Mertens, who slammed it into the goal to make it 2-0.

Galatasaray Maintains Perfect Start to the Season
Galatasaray continued to dominate the match and increased their lead in the first half. An hour before the hour mark, Lucas Torreira passed the ball to Sara, who calmly scored a goal.
Though veteran forward Edin Dzeko converted a penalty for Fenerbahce, it was not enough to spark a comeback.
While Osimhen didn’t score, he provided his second assist in two games, helping Galatasaray maintain their perfect start to the season with six wins from six matches, now sitting five points clear of Fenerbahce in the Super Lig standings.
