Pep Guardiola downplays Erling Haaland’s injury concerns
During Manchester City’s comfortable FA Cup quarter-final win against Newcastle on Saturday, the forward was replaced in the second half, raising concerns about a potential injury. Nonetheless, Pep Guardiola downplayed these worries and advised his players to approach international duty with caution.

“He is not my player anymore from now on, what they will decide will be fine,” he said. “They know that they fought a lot and train a lot, a lot of adrenaline and concentration to arrive in this position.
“They know they are friendly games and they have to handle it wisely. Hopefully they can do it.”, he said, according to Football London.
Erling Haaland’s injury might prove costly to City’s title challenge
This new footage, however, comes as a huge blow for the Cityzens, as they might yet again lose their prolific striker to injury ahead of the crucial game against Arsenal, which might prove to be a huge decider in the fierce title challenge between both clubs and Liverpool.
Meanwhile, in previous news, Sports Buddy reported that Manchester City defender, who is a current teammate of Haaland’s, named who he believes is a better goalscorer than the Norwegian striker, surprisingly picking a former left-back.
