Manchester United’s wonder kid, Kobbie Mainoo, scored a magnificent goal yesterday, giving his team a 2-1 lead in the 67th minute against Liverpool.

With the score tied at 1-1 following goals from Luis Diaz and Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo took center stage.

The 18-year-old seized the opportunity, receiving the ball on the half-turn before unleashing a shot that propelled Manchester United into the lead at Old Trafford.

While fans flooded social media with praise for the youngster’s remarkable strike, they couldn’t help but notice a striking resemblance to a goal scored at Old Trafford back in 2009.

Beyond the on-field action, supporters even observed uncanny parallels in the movements of the advertising boards during both goals.

Despite facing dominance from the visitors, Mainoo handed Erik ten Hag’s side the lead with his exceptional strike in the second half.

Following the goal, Manchester United fans flooded social media platforms to draw comparisons between Mainoo’s goal and previous memorable strikes.

”Who did it better? Federico Macheda? Or Mainoo?” asked one supporter.

The fan referred to a goal scored by the Italian youngster Macheda, in 2009. He received a pass from Ryan Giggs, executed an incredible turn in the box, and scored an off-balance shot into the top corner, securing a dramatic 3-2 win for United against Aston Villa.
