Pastor Peterside Idaho, a former goalie for the Super Eagles, has demanded that Victor Osimhen apologize to Finidi George or face sanctions from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Sports Buddy recently reported that Osimhen unleashed a furious tirade on Instagram, criticizing former Super Eagles coach Finidi George.
Peterside asked Osimhen to apologise or get banned
Peterside said that Victor Osimhen apologize to Nigerians and Super Eagles heroes like Finidi George.
“Finidi George is a legend, if you have any issue with him call him, that’s how responsible people do. I think the NFF should call Victor Oshimen to apologize to Finidi, he must apologize, he has to apologize for ranting his mouth for saying things, Peterside said.
“Our national team is sacred, days we wore this jersey and respected it with people that wear it before us, Oshimen can’t be first either be the last to wear the jersey, he can’t say things without control, he should come out to apologize to former footballers, NFF, Finidi, and Nigeria.
“I think action should be taken or be banned from the national team because if we allow this kind of thing to continue, it will not go well for Nigeria and the men that have to serve the great country, it is a call that sanity must be brought into our football and those of you in the leadership must show purpose but he has to call the young players to order, this nonsense must stop,” he added.
