Despite his recent apology, Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez is in the midst of another racist scandal.
Fernandez was paraded by his childhood team, River Plate, on Sunday in honor of his recent Copa America victory with Argentina.

The 23-year-old was present in the stadium as part of the South American nation’s recent tournament victory. However, he found himself in a situation where the racist song was being chanted, but he was not seen joining in the chants this time around.

Enzo Fernandez’s video scandal
After Argentina defeated Colombia in the Copa America final on Monday night, the Chelsea player, who was recording while the team celebrated in the bus, became the focus of a racist backlash.
In his Instagram live video, the Argentina players were seen singing a song disparaging the black football players in France and their history.
Sports Buddy previously reported that the video recorded by Enzo sparked outrage as some of his Chelsea teammates were furious, with defender Wesley Fofana tagging it as ”uninhibited racism,” while others unfollowed the Argentine on social media.
Sports Buddy also reported that Enzo could face a lengthy ban, despite his apology.
