Embattled Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is set to make a shock switch to Turkish side Galatasaray after his failed moves to Chelsea and Al Ahli.
Osimhen desperately wanted to leave Napoli over the summer but couldn’t secure a move to Chelsea or Al-Ahli.
With the transfer window over, the 25-year-old striker was axed from Napoli’s squad, leaving him faced with several months without playing any club competitive football.

However, a glimmer of hope has appeared for the Nigerian striker as Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Turkish giants Galatasaray are pursuing a deal to sign him.
They have opened negotiations with the Italians and could potentially secure him on loan before the Turkish transfer window closes on September 13.
Galatasaray are seeking a high-profile striker to bolster their attack after Mauro Icardi’s injury.
The club is also considering a switch to a 3-5-2 formation with Osimhen and Icardi forming a formidable partnership upfront.
Should the deal go through, Osimhen would finally fulfil his wish to leave Naples this summer. However, for a short while, till he’s able to secure a permanent move from the club.
Buchi Laba on X claims that the Super Eagles striker could still secure a move to Chelsea in the January transfer window, despite previous failed transactions with the club.
