Victor Osimhen saw his supposed perfect night end abruptly in agonizing fashion as the Nigerian striker exited the Galatasaray clash against Kasimpasa with injury after ending is goal drought a brace.
Osimhen, who recently moved to the Turkish side, eventually opened his goal-scoring account after firing blank in his first three appearances for the club, where he provided an assist in each of the games.

The 25-year-old striker scored the opener in the 20th minute with a well-composed finish from a few yards out before going on to complete his brace with a world-class left-footed volley eight minutes later.
Despite an impressive first-half performance for the Asians, Osimhen was unable to resume the second half with the team after being substituted at during the break due to injury.

Buchi Labba on X has now given an update on the Super Eagles attacker’s situation, saying,
”He felt a slight pain when he was pushed outside the pitch. He will be evaluated tomorrow: If there’s Lesion.
”He will rest for 3days if not Latest is 2weeks .He currently Squats & feels no pain. After Evaluation tomorrow, I will update Immediately.”
In addition to leaving the game prematurely, Osimhen’s perfect night was further marred as his team squandered a three-goal lead to draw the game 3-3, rendering the striker’s goal less effective.
He will now look to recover from both setbacks, hoping that the injury was nothing more than a scare, and aiming to return to action as his team seeks to bounce back with a win.
