Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has insisted that he only wants players who are fully committed to representing Spurs after missing out on Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze. The attacking midfielder is now set to complete a move to Arsenal, despite weeks of interest from Spurs.

Speaking to reporters, Frank made it clear that he does not regret losing the transfer battle, stressing that the club’s badge should only be worn by players who truly want to be part of the team.

“In general, I don’t want any players that don’t want to come to this club and wear this fantastic badge. We don’t want them here and I’m sure fans feel the same,” Frank said.

Spurs Move on From Eze Disappointment

The North London side endured a frustrating week, not only losing out on Eze to their rivals but also receiving a worrying injury update on winger Dejan Kulusevski.

However, Frank confirmed that Tottenham remain active in the transfer market and will look to strengthen before the window closes.

Despite the setback, Spurs are said to be pushing ahead with efforts to land Brazilian winger Savinho from Manchester City, in what could be a record bid for the club.

What’s next for Tottenham?

Tottenham will now turn their attention to their weekend clash against Manchester City. Spurs have a relatively strong record against the champions, winning two of their last four league meetings, and Frank will hope his side can bounce back on the pitch while work continues behind the scenes to bolster the squad.
