Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford, has been handed a 6-months driving ban, after being caught exceeding the speed limit in his Rolls Royce some months ago.
Sports Buddy previously reported that Rashford risked being punished for speed limit violation as 26-year-old attacker was seen going 104 MPH, exceeding the permitted speed limit of 70 mph (112 km/h) on the M60 in Manchester last year with his Rolls Royce.
It appears that Rashford has a knack for overspeeding, having been involved in a car crash months before his most recent driving offense, which saw his £700,000 Rolls Royce wrecked.
The accident occurred close to the Manchester United training facility in Carrington. However, there were no casualties recorded.
Marcus Rashford’s punishment
A Manchester court has now given the striker a six-month driving ban for his excessive car navigation, according to Sky Sports.
He will also pay a reported £1,666 in fines, £120 in court costs, and a £66 surcharge in addition to the ban.
Meanwhile, the England international has been on holiday, following his exclusion from Gareth Southgate’s squad that made it to the Euro 2024 final.
The attacker told fans that he is resting as he hopes to improve on his underwhelming performance from the last campaign.
